We are seeking a highly motivated User Experience Researcher who excels in fast-paced environments and is dedicated to enhancing internal tools through rapid, iterative testing. This role presents an exciting opportunity to drive significant improvements in Microsoft’s incident management processes and tools. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to generate insights quickly, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and advocate for user needs while working autonomously on high-visibility projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and execute rapid usability tests and concept evaluations to support internal product teams.
- Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and product managers to translate research findings into actionable improvements.
- Conduct contextual inquiries and workflow studies with internal users involved in incident response and resolution.
- Analyze and synthesize data quickly to meet tight timelines without compromising quality.
- Advocate for user needs in the development of tools that support operational excellence and incident handling.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience post-graduation; ideally 5–7 years.
- Proficient in rapid UX research methods with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to produce executive-level written reports.
- Familiarity with incident management systems, preferably Microsoft’s ICM or similar large-scale systems.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams.

- Pay Range: $48.50 - 55 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
